About our Nanny (Live-in Caregiver Training Course)

Nanny is a full-time study program that provides you the training of 6 Months to work as a Live-In Caregiver for Canadian family. As a Nanny, you will be responsible for children caring along with that a dependent elderly or disabled person.

This program incorporates both theory and practical. During theory; lectures will be delivered. All the textbooks and other materials will be provided by us. You will be preparing notes, seminar presentations, individual & group projects and class discussions in this program. Ratings and bservations are given on regular basis. After completing your Course, you will receive a certified certificate along with Mark sheet as per your performance.

Minimum Eligibility: 10+2

IMPORTANT NOTICE

LMIA / LMO Letter

Candidates must get their Job offer letter i.e. LMIA (LABOUR MARKET IMPACT ASSASMENT) from their belongings in Abroad. Educare Group of Institutes is not responsible to get LMIA for any candidate. We may assist the owner about the criteria of issuing LMIA.

Major three conditions are as follow:

  • Owner’s Family must be PR or Citizen of respective country.
  • Owner can only ask for Nanny if he or she has either kids under the age of 12 years or elderly people above the age of 45 years or a regular disabled person.
  • Sponsor Family annual income should not be less than $65000/- Canadian dollars.

Eligibilities for Live-In Caregivers in Canada

  • An approved Job offer letter; Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) from an employer in Canada.

    • Before appointing, Employer must:

    • Apply to Employment and Social Development Canada/Service Canada (ESDC/SC) to have job offer reviewed.
    • And, receive a positive Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) letter from ESDC/SC.

ESDC/SC will assess your employer's job offer and the employment contract to be sure that it meets the requirements for wages and working conditions and the provincial labor and employment standards, and that there are not enough Canadians or permanent residents available to work as live-in caregivers in Canada. If ESDC/SC finds the job offer acceptable, they will issue a positive LMIA to your employer.

  • A written contract with your future employer, signed by you and the employer.

    • A legal employment contract must be signed by you and employer. The written contract must be submitted with work permit application. A copy of employment contract should be submitted to ESDC/SC by your employer, unless you provide an explanation of any changes (for example, a new start date). This contract will assure, there is a decent working arrangement between both parties.

  • Candidate should meet equivalent qualification of a Canadian secondary school education.

    • A minimum qualification of 10th +2 is required that is considered as equivalent of Canadian high school education (secondary school).

  • Candidate should have either 6 months training of Live-in Caregiver or minimum 1 year of full-time work experience as a caregiver or any related field or occupation plus 6 months with one employer, in the past three years.

    • To claim work experience, you need to have worked for one year, including at least six months of continuous employment for the same employer. This work experience must be in a field or occupation specific to what you will do as a live-in caregiver. This experience must have been acquired within the three years immediately before the day on which you make an application for a work permit as a caregiver.

    • To claim training, it must have been full-time training in a classroom setting. Areas of study could be early childhood education, geriatric care, pediatric nursing or first aid.

  • Good command on English Language.

    • You must be able to speak, read and understand English so that you can survive at your own in your employer's home. For example, you must be able to call emergency services if they are needed, and to understand labels on medication. You will be unsupervised for most of the day and may have to communicate with someone outside the home. You can also read and understand your rights and obligations if you can function in English.

  • A valid work permit before you enter Canada

    • First of all, make an application for work permit as a live-in caregiver and submit it at Visa Office (outside Canada). If the application is found valid, you will receive an introduction letter from the Canadian visa office responsible for your area. Upon arrival in Canada, you will need to present this letter to the Border Services Officer, to obtain our work permit.

NOTE

A PERSONAL INTERVIEW WILL BE CONDUCTED BY VISA OFFICER FOR A NANNY CANDIDATE. IT WILL BE IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND VISA OFFICER WILL SOME QUESTIONS RELATED TO NANNY AND NURSING. HE WILL ALSO JUDGE YOUR COMMUNICATION LEVEL. VISA OFFICER SHOULD BE SATISFIED BY THE CANDIDATE THAT HE OR SHE IS WELL-VERSED IN NANNY AND OBTAINED COACHING FROM A REPUTED INSTITUTE AND COMPLETED HOSPITAL AND CRECHE TRAINING FROM A GENUINE PLACE ONLY.

CHANCES OF GETTING VISA WITHOUT ATTENDNG THE FULL COURSE AND OBTAINING FAKE CERTIFICATE IS ZERO PERCENT. THIS ACTIVITY MAY LEAD TOWARDS PERMANENT DECLINITION FROM CANADIAN EMBASSY.

IELTS IS NOT MANDATORY FOR NANNY VISA BUT YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO COMMUNICATE IN ENGLISH VERY WELL TO GET YOUR VISA APPROVED.
